Hello. I am having issues with forms on my website where submitting will result in just a string of text showing up where the form used to be. This string of text will usually be “wp-placeholder<followed by a string of numbers>”.
The form will not submit the data filled, and it won’t trigger an e-mail notification either. They used to run perfectly up until 5 days ago, and have only started having issues recently.
I have also updated the forminator plugin to the latest version, and I have tried to make a new form to test it, but the issue remains.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you

    Hi @cristianohk ,

I hope you’re doing well, and I’m sorry to see that you’re facing this issue.

Could you please confirm if you have the “Load Form using AJAX” enabled? And try to toggle it to confirm if it helps?

This option is available under the form > Behavior, on the rendering section, here is also more info – https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#rendering

In case it doesn’t help, could you please export the form and use a service like pastebin to share the export with us?

You can see how to export the form here – https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

I hope to hear back from you soon.
    Best Regards,
    Williams Valerio

    Hi Williams,
The form is already set to Load using AJAX
    Here is the pastebin https://pastebin.com/DFChMFMZ

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi @cristianohk

I tested your form on my lab site and everything seems to work as it should. Form displays correctly, and submissions with email notifications work as well.

Please note that each site is different, as it possibly uses different plugins or themes. In the WP repository, there are over 60,000 plugins, and some of them possibly exist on that site. Taking this into account, there is a risk of new potential conflicts after each update.

Would you please run a conflict test? Please deactivate all plugins, apart from Forminator, and check if the problem is gone. If so, then enable all plugins one by one and find which one is having a conflict. If there is no positive result, switch to the default WordPress theme like 2019, and see if it works.

Before this test, we recommend full site backup or running this test on the staging site.

Let us know about the results.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris
