I have now tested MailPoet with the basic form that is provided, just the email field. I am still having all the issues listed above.

When I hit submit I get an error:

Oops! There is a problem with this form:
    ………………………………….
    textStatus:error
    ………………………………….
    errorThrown:Not Found
    ………………………………….
    responseText:

The page header and secondary menu are removed from their place at the top of the site, and are displayed in the in the sidebar below the above mentioned text…

I am wondering if this can somehow be something related to the host. It is one I have never used before http://www.namecheap.com

Also, I am using plugins I have used with Mailpoet before. However, to be sure I deactivated all of them. The issues were the same.

The issue is caused by the hosting company, here is their response.

“We installed a Mod_Security for increasing the security of our servers. It is an Apache module which works as a web application firewall. It blocks known exploits and provides protection from a range of attacks against web applications. Its activity may cause such issues from time to time, when requests sent to the server match with mod_sec rules. Sometimes such requests are false-positive.”

They are in the process of correcting the issue now.

I just tried it. Their fix worked.
