I’m very new to WordPress, so forgive me if the answer is right under my nose.

I’m trying to add a pop-up to my website to capture lead information before allowing visitors access to “premium content” (case studies, white papers, etc.). I downloaded Popup Maker and wanted to use forms from Inbound Now WP Leads, so I took the shortcode and I’ve tried inserting it into both the visual and text editor. With both methods, I open the popup and it says “Form ID not found.”

So, thinking that Inbound Now Forms weren’t compatible with Popup Maker, I tried using a Contact 7 form. I again copied the shortcode and tried inserting it into both the text and visual editor. Instead of showing the form, the popup showed the shortcode text both times.

What am I doing wrong? I’d prefer to use the Inbound Now form if possible because I like the way it shows leads. Thanks!!

@afigueroagci – Sounds like your testing the forms in the admin preview. Unfortunately not all shortcodes work in the admin area. This causes the issue you described. The form should be there when it is shown on the front of your site.
