Just a follow up i’m receiving the red error below:

same problem here… started yesterday the 3rd of March
The plugin is working for me on many different websites and several different servers. Any issue you have is almost certainly due to something on your local WP install.
Though the plugin successfully sends millions of emails every day, there are a host of issues that can stop or delay emails on both the sending and receiving ends. It depends entirely on your local Server & WordPress configuration. You will need to investigate this issue for your particular local configuration.
See Contact Form 7 Email Issues. There is a link at the bottom of the page to a comprehensive and detailed article which covers many issues. Most people that work through this information appear to be able to resolve their email sending & receiving issues.
seems like a lot of people started having the same problem at the same time. Plugin was working fine for several months and now stops to work out of the sudden. No changes made to wordpress, not even page updates, ZERO interaction on admin part and then out of the blue – error message.
What do you think could be a culprit here? PHP update on the servers? I have this issue on two different hosting environments – 1and1 and godaddy – different wordpress versions, different contact form 7 versions, different wordpress themes etc…
I am seeing the same problem. All contact forms were working fine until March 3rd. Any ideas for a solution are very welcome!
The same has happened to me, I am receiving the same error:

Any ideas?

UPDATE: since my original post (march 3rd) my forms seems to working fine again. I didn’t do anything so if they stopped working for you all of the sudden give them another try, hopefully yours are working again as well.
My forms are all working today too.
Seems unusual that forms are not working one day after not making any changes and the next day forms are working, no changes either time. Any explanation to this may help us understand it better.
RE: What do you think could be a culprit here? PHP update on the servers?
Something like that is definitely possible.
According to Post Status, Contact Form 7 has over 6 million active installs. At those sort of numbers it is likely that changes like that made on major hosting providers may manifest in some questions in this forum.
