    Hi @jermvtarng,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I’ve tested the form on your site using the link you provided, and I was unable to reproduce the issue on my end. I could successfully interact with the fields and submit the form without any “read only” errors. You can view my test submission in this screencast.

When you have a chance, could you please try the following steps to rule out a local caching issue:

    1. Purge your site cache: If you’re using a caching plugin or a server-level cache, please clear it completely.
    2. Test in an Incognito/Private window: This ensures that no browser extensions or old cookies are interfering with the form’s behavior.

If the issue persists even after these steps, please share more details on how to reproduce the issue.

    Thanks!

@rsouzaam I can clear browsing data and cache but our military network connected computers don’t allow us to browse incognito. I see the “read-only” in the bottom right corner of the page ONLY when I am using my military network connected computer. Here is a link to a screenshot, Screenshot. Not shown in the screen short is a message that appears when you hover over the error notification. The message says “Keyboard input has been disabled for this site by Army policy”.

I am confused how to solve this issue because I am able to access forms on other similar websites using the same computer.

    Hi @jermvtarng,

Thank you for sharing that screenshot and providing those specific details about the error message you are seeing.

I have carefully reviewed your form at the page you shared, and I am unable to reproduce the “read-only” status or the error message on my desktop. This suggests that the issue is not coming from a setting within the WPForms plugin itself.

    Troubleshooting the Network Policy

The message you mentioned, “Keyboard input has been disabled for this site by Army policy,” indicates that this is a restriction enforced by your specific “military network connected computer” configuration rather than a bug with the form.

To help us narrow this down, please try the following steps:

    • Test on a Different Device: Try to access the same form using a mobile device (connected to cellular data) or a personal computer outside of the military network.
    • Confirm with IT/Network Admin: Since the browser explicitly mentions “Army policy,” you may need to reach out to your network administrator to see if your site URL needs to be added to an allowlist or if there are specific security filters blocking user input on this domain.
    • Review Local Browser Settings: If you are permitted to do so, check if there are any browser extensions or security software active on that specific machine that might be triggering this read-only mode.

We want to make sure you can successfully use your forms. Please let me know if the issue persists on other devices or if you have any further questions!

    Hi @jermvtarng,

We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
