At the moment, tp is translating the bibtex “forthcoming” as “0000”: http://www.michaelriordan.co.uk/publications-not-public/ … As I don’t know when these publications will be published, I can’t give a year.

    Hi,

It’s a well known problem of the plugin. My workaround is: choice a date in the future and use the note field for a comment (“forthcomming”, “in print”,…) I know, it’s not pretty. I will be working on a smarter solution.

    Hi all,

First, thanks for this awesome plugin.

I second this request. I am preparing my resumé to applying for jobs and I would like to add a “in preparation” paper that should be submitted in a few weeks. So far I haven’t found a reasonable way to do that using the plugin.

Perhaps adding a “im preparation”, or “forthcoming” tick box that when enabled should disable the date tag. Would that be feasible?

Or maybe this would be a road to follow? http://jblevins.org/log/forthcoming

    Cheers,
    Thiago.

Some time has passed, but I’ve added an option for highlight a publication as “forthcoming” into teachPress 6.0 or higher.
