Forum Used?

I am new to wordpress. Downloaded and installed successfully. The question i have is ….where do you get the forum functionality? When you go to ww.wp.xz.cn you can go into a forum.. I looked through distribution, hacks, etc. and could not find what forum was integrated with wordpress on the main site. I am interested in both the forum and the code that allows you when in the forum to see details about the poster. I would like to add that functionality to the Blog entries…so people can see who or what made the entry. 🙂 Looks like nice software…but i always love to tinker.

There are hacks / plugins available that may do what you wish, and a good start point for those, and the other extras that you can play with is the Wiki:
