    Hi,

Is it possible to have the postcode as optional? Not every country has one and at the moment it is a required field.

In Stripe when a payment is made, the country origin shows as the United States, how can I change that (it should be Ireland in the below image)? http://i.imgur.com/7Tyyr9t.png

When filling out the shipping info, if you accidentally untick the “Same billing & shipping info” box, you can’t retick it and either have to fill in the billing and shipping information or close the box and reopen it.

Lastly, in the shipping/billing fields there is no county/state field. It only has street, city, postcode and country.

  • Hey @joecubed,

While these are all really great suggestions, this is unfortunately out of our hands currently. All of the items that you mentioned are items that are taken care of by Stripe themselves and not anything we are adding from our plugin.

Might I suggest though that you send a feedback report to Stripe? They might find it helpful.

Here is a link to their support page https://support.stripe.com/

    Thanks for using our plugin!

    Hi Nick,
Thanks for your reply, I did email them and they replied this in regards to the postcode:

“We actually don’t require zip/postal code, as outlined at https://stripe.com/docs/api#create_card. I recommend pointing the developer to that API section, as it shows the this is optional.

I hope this helps, but please don’t hesitate to let me know if you need anything else.

    Cheers,
    Patrick”

Thanks for following up on this.

I know that the zip isn’t necessarily required, but I am not sure how to actually remove the zip field from the checkout form.

I will definitely be looking into it further now.

Again, thanks for the follow up and if I can get this sorted out I will let you know.
