Fractional quantities for product components

I am using WPC Composite Products to let visitors order custom-made audio cables. I need the quantity (length) of cable to start from 0.5m and increment in steps of 0.5. Is it possible to do this?

Sorry for the late reply. I consulted your question with our developers and they need some time to consider all the possibilities before giving a response.
Adding decimal quantity to smart composite plugin might affect other current users, so it’s impossible via plugin update. For your case, we suggest using another plugin to create quantity rules for fractional products to be used within the components.
- You can use our WPC Product Quantity plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wpc-product-quantity/ to create decimal step, for example, 0.5 for product A, B, C to be added to the composite. You can set up quantity rules for products using different sources.
- Next, add those items to the smart composite’s components and enable the Custom quantity option (no need to specify a min/max limit there).

Please note that the quantity rules will also apply to the products when they are purchased individually outside the smart composite.
