    Just reviewing the new version, if you have free plan only, the messages about:
    “You can’t change the plan your listing is on ”
    may just be confusing if there is no choice of plan.

    If there is only one plan, it might be clearer to remove the plan concept altogether – any limitation would be part of the terms and conditions.

    It’s not immediately clear whether it’s safe to do eg:
    .wpbdp-category-selection-with-tip .wpbdp-msg.tip{display:none;}
    as there might be other tip messages that might be needed.

    Hi @jonathanmoorebcsorg,

    Sorry that you ran into issues here!

    Yes, we are aware of this–it’s an optimization we had in 4.x (not to show the plans) that we added but we missed this in 5.x because our testing focused heavily on the paid experience, since our changes impacted that significantly more.

    We’re working on a fix for this and hope to have it in a patch release soon. We’re still evaluating how much is needed to make it work the way everyone wants…

    Thanks for bearing with us.

    well yes, it’s not simple to just hide the message from the front end since the form requires the user to select a plan even if there is only 1 available.

    It should be possible to set a preferred plan selection by default, or indeed to preselect if only one plan available.

    Hi @jonathanmoorebcsorg,

    Yes, we had an optimization in 4.x where we skipped fee plan selection if your site was in free mode, or skip payment if the fee plan was free/0.00 cost. We missed those in 5.0. We are working to add them back. We don’t want to annoy users, and we’re working to get it out as soon as we’re able.

    Thanks again for your patience.
