I’m new to WordPress. I have downloaded a free version theme but I can’t remove the footer copyright statement. It says I have to buy pro version to remove the footer. Can I have a totally free version of the word press theme or I have to buy one?

What theme are you using?

There are always ways to edit a theme, but might also consider finding a different theme if something so basic “requires” payment. https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes

Thank you, everyone. Earlier I downloaded an orchid theme from https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/. Could you please name one of the totally free theme name or link to download.
