I completely understand why you’d feel frustrated with WPForms Lite – it can be disappointing to realize that some features are only available in the Pro version.
I do, however, want to assure you that we designed WPForms Lite as a free, stripped-down version of our premium form builder to make it accessible to everyone. We believe that collecting form submissions is an essential feature, and we’ve made it available for all users, regardless of whether you’re using the Lite or Pro version.
For Lite users, we ensured that there were two options for entry collection, one for users who plan on upgrading in the form of Lite Connect entry backups and another for users who have decided that they won’t, which is email notifications. Notifications allow you to send an email with anything, to anyone, including a list out of the data that was submitted (with the {all_fields} smart tag) to your email address.
We’re sorry that you got the impression that you wouldn’t be able to view your entries without a paid version. This is most definitely possible with WPForms Lite. And if you have any other questions about setting up notifications, please feel free to post in our WPForms Lite support forum.

thanks for the info but I still consider your plugin a scam. Having email notifications as the only source of form collection is totally user unfriendly. Who on Earth would be good with this solution? Maybe someone with 3 form entries in a week. 99% of plugin users either have to buy a pro version or start using different plugin. And since many people find it too inconvinient to find another plugin they will switch to pro. And this kind of business strategy is a scam.

We understand that our free version of WPForms may have limitations, particularly with regards to email notifications as the primary method for entry management, and that may cause the plugin to not meet all of your needs.
If collecting your leads via email is not ideal, we also offer a free integration with Constant Contact in our Lite version, which could be a more helpful workaround.
It might also be worth mentioning that we’ve actually helped many users upgrade from Lite to Pro and recover their lost entries. For example, one of our users was able to recover 12,000 entries from their old form after upgrading to WPForms Pro. The value is definitely there, but we completely understand where you’re coming from as well.
