    Hi,

I would like to know whether plugin check is meant to be compatible with freemius integration. The premium file generated by freemius causes mismatch text domain probably because the main folder name has changed. So, mismatch of text domain, is it normal and acceptable for this case ? Shouldn’t the translation still work even if errors are shown in plugin check for this case ? Thanks in advance for your suggestion.

I believe I’ve found the answer to my question. Despite the text domain mismatch warning (likely due to folder name changes from Freemius-generated files), translations still work as expected. I’m marking this as resolved.

It is not correct to consider this a real error.
When using the Plugin Checker on the premium slug generated by Freemius, you get thousands of “ERROR TEXT DOMAIN MISMATCH” messages, making it very time-consuming to find actual issues.
Since the text domain has nothing to do with the slug, it should not be treated as an error in the Plugin Checker.
Reporting it as an error generates false positives and provides misleading information to developers.
Time is valuable for everyone, and improving this would save countless hours for plugin authors.
