Frequency Theme Virtue updates

    Hi,

    I’m using the free Kadence Theme Virtue since a few years and with great satisfaction. But today I had to download the ‘latest theme update’, the 3rd update in one month or so. Why do these updates appear so unregularly and without any specification, how can I decide it’s relevant for me or not? My website is very basic so most of the updates are related to functions I don’t use i guess…

    Hey,

    The main reason for the large amounts of updates lately is due to WooCommerce’s major update that was pushed recently. This shouldn’t continue to be the case for too much longer, but expect a few more as things continue to get optimized.

    Even if the updates don’t always directly effect the way your site directly, and you should always be on the latest version of the theme. For the most secure and stable site, simply update the site as they you see updates.

    If you want to know what each update contains, then you can find it in the read me file of the theme in wp-content> themes> virtue> readme.txt.
