I am at a loss. I put the “from” line back to the default on my Contact Form 7 contact page and the system let me save the contact form, so I thought it was good.
I used iPhone to sent a contact request using my personal email address and got a “there was an error trying to send your message, try again later”. I tried it many times and it will not send.
I got a similar message when I tried to use the standard WordPress CoBlocks contact form last week.
So, it looks to me like I did something when I setup WordPress that is stopping contact forms from sending to my email address. What did I do???
I remember the setup asking me if I wanted to use some anonymous email process to keep my customers from knowing my email address. I think I said yes (bad me). It said contacts would be sent through some server in Arizona then forwarded to my contact email address.
how can I turn this feature off? Maybe it is causing the problem.
Any help will be appreciated. This is literally all I have to get right to go live on my site and I am at a loss.
Have a great day.

I don’t know about this setup. I guess that is about your hosting service or another WordPress plugin. I don’t even know if that has something to do with this issue.
What other plugins and theme do you use on the site? There might be some clue.
