From E-mail vs domain

    Hi! I’ve set up SMTP with Mailgun, all works correctly. Is it ok when “From Email” will be [email protected] while the domain in Mailgun is [email protected]? I needed to set it up this way cause domain.com has SPF for google (we use Google Workspace).

    Everything seems to work perfectly, I’m just wondering whether that can impact deliveries.

    In case “From E-mail” needs to be set [email protected], can I somewhere set Reply-to e-mail? Thank you.

    Hi @kubazabran,

    Thanks for reaching out. Your Mailgun settings should work just fine.

    In case it helps to know, when using the Mailgun mailer, you should actually enter a subdomain instead of the main domain. This is covered in our guide here. So your current settings are good to go and won’t impact your email delivery.

    You won’t have to change your From Email to [email protected] either. The [email protected]  should work just fine.
