Hello, we are having an issue where users do not have the ability to upload files from the frontend, even when the permission has been assigned to their user role; no upload button exits on front. I see a javascript error: “ReferenceError: mdocs_js is not defined” and “mdocs.post.editor.js:1:954”.

Also, the plugin is interfering with editing on frontend in other posts. My rich text editor, on front end only, is throwing white text and not display visual editor buttons. Deactivating Memphis Documents Library fixes that issue. I’ve tried adjusting the settings in mdocs regarding disabling third party includes, but to no effect.

We are on WP 5.1 and PHP 7.1.

    Any help is appreciated.

what other plugins are you using, please narrow down the plugin that is conflicting with mDocs. This will help to debug your issues.

Hello, it is interfering with Formidable Forms, and to clarify, the mdocs javascript error is showing on the pages where Formidable is loaded, not the Memphis Docs pages.

Also, the frontend editor button not appearing for Memphis Docs was my fault. I didn’t realize there was a separate shortcode in addition to the permissions. So I am able to upload from the frontend in Memphis Docs now. However, it is saving the document multiple times from the front if you refresh the page for any reason.

    Thank You.

    Hi,

Unfortunately Formidable forms is a paid plugin and I have no way to debug the issue. I suggest contacting the plugin author maybe they can give a suggestion is to what the problem is.
