Front page domain issues

Hi Friends,
So I’ve long since had Polylang installed on my website (awesome plugin!!), which is based out of http://www.osezinnover.com. Originally this was the english side of the website and then the french side was http://www.osezinnover.com/fr. At one point we bought http://www.daretoinnovate.com and had it redirect or something to http://www.osezinnover.com.

Recently we decided to do what we should have from the start, namely get daretoinnovate.com be for all english pages and http://www.osezinnover.com to all french pages, and with polylang this worked out well. EXCEPT….

if you got to http://www.daretoinnovate.com your browser will be redirected to http://www.osezinnover.com. You will notice however that if you type in http://www.daretoinnovate.com/ you’ll go to the english front page no problemo.

So my question is this: how can I stop http://www.daretoinnovate.com from redirecting to http://www.osezinnover.com. It’s the only page on my website where I’m having this problem. Thanks for your help.

Additional info: I checked out my htaccess files and it doesn’t look like anything is going on there. In all honest, I don’t remember how I originally redirected daretoinovate.com to osezinnover.com, but I imagine that this problem might have something to do with that.

More new info: So apparently, now when I go to http://www.daretoinnovate.com, the Menu switches correctly, but the rest of the home page content does not follow suite. I used the pll_current_language function to change the elements of the homepage that go to french…

Hello
Could you specify your “URL modifications” in Languages > Settings?

Because you have as adresse http://www.daretoinnovate.com/ for english and http://fr.www.osezinnover.com/ for french.

Either your define the language from directory name or from subdomains.

Huh, that’s weird.

I set language settings in Polylang as: “The language is set from different domains” where http://www.dareetoinnovate.com is English and http://www.osezinnover.com is french.

wordpress address(url)
site address(url) are both http://www.osezinnover.com

I set those up via wp-config. If I try to take it out, then the wordpress backend won’t let me login…

Also, I see where you’re getting the http://fr.www.osezinnover.com/ thing. If you go to the french pages that aren’t yet created, they have a url as http://fr.www.osezinnover.com/, but actually if you go to pages that are linked up already, like http://www.daretoinnovate.com/resources-2/materials/ the french side is http://www.osezinnover.com/ressources-2/materiels/.
