Front Page ID duplicate, automatic redirection issue

    Just wanted to report this also here even if I think MultiSite Clone Duplicator 1.4.1 (Last Updated 1 year ago) causes the problem with two Front Pages having the same ID and automatic redirection function not working on the second (duplicated) site.
    A collegue told me the MultilingualPress table saving the redirections for languages could be adopted for this, but not sure if this would give advantages for other cases.

    Hi bmwm,

    I´m not sure I understood it correctly (if that´s not the case please explain the issue a bit more) but having the same page ID in two different sites in the network should not be a problem either for MultilingualPress or WordPress Multisite in general. In other words, page id 1 in site 1 is not the same as page id 1 in site 2, so no problem here.

    I can not confirm that the problem is caused by the page ID since I am no coder or db expert. I just observed that deleting the (duplicated) front page in the younger multisite and creating the new one (with new ID) made the language redirect function on that multisite work again.
    My collegue had a quick look at the db tables and he suspected the “not redirecting” was caused by creation and usage of db tables.
    I’m probably not able to add more useful information. Thanks for the plugin anyway.
