front page image size

    Hi, just started a WordPress website with Make, and I’m wondering how to make the image on the front page larger. I’ve changed the setting media sizes, and changed the settings of the image, said image is always the same size. For the front page, I would like to have it larger.

    Also, I found how to put the navigation into the header bar, but I seem unable to take it off the header itself, below. Maybe that doesn’t work.

    Would the plugin you recommend, WP PageNavi help? I don’t have any plugins yet.

    This is my first Wordress attempt!

    For the front page of your site, you might want to try using the Builder Template and adding a Banner section.

    Thank you Melissa, I hadn’t realized that a banner image would be so tall, I thought it was short and narrow. That works great! I’m sure you’re busy, if you have one more moment, I’m wondering now what to do about having to scroll down for the footer to show up on the page. I want the whole page to show on the screen w/o scrolling. Thank you, Helen

    Hi Helen,

    There is no good way to ensure all your content will show up on the screen without scrolling, unfortunately, as you would need to account for so many different screen sizes!
