    Hello
My site is http://www.pigorety.ro and i have a problems with him .
The frontal Menu has disappeared although I went to Settings-Customize-Appeareance- Navigation- Primary menu . A few days ago he worked . In the time the menu worked i installed some plugins and widgets , i’ve tried different themes (but i kept the old theme)
I also put the Google Analytics code in header.php . I guess after that the frontal menu didn’t appeared . Then to repair this thing i uninstalled the plugins , widgets , and i removed the code but still the menu doesn’t appear .
I guess is a problem from css (header.php) when i put the tracking code from google analytics .
I am not so good with site editing so i don’t know what to do .
If is necesary i can give you the loging password and username through email.

    Thank you
    Best Regards

  • An easy mistake to make with menus is to not set the location.
Each theme has several locations where you can put menus.
At Dashboard > Appearance > Menus, you get to create and name menus. You can create many menus. What is important to know is that the NAME of a menu is not the same as its LOCATION.
While you have been experimenting with themes, your “Primary menu” has lost its LOCATION. You need to select the location and choose which menu to put at that location, then SAVE.

If is necesary i can give you the loging password and username through email.

The rules of this forum do not permit this.

I went to Appeareance > Menu and i selected the Primary Menu , then i selected Manage Location , and then i pushed Save .
I went then to Customize to see if something has changed but nothing.

If “Manage Locations” is what you ment by “Location” then i guess it didn’t worked , if not, please show me by steps because i am a novice to wordpress .

    Thank you

Something similar happen to me – all i did is renamed the menus to alphabetical order A being my main one. And it worked.
