Hi Henrik,
I don’t know what is the “delete my profile”-option. If you delete a user, he can be in jail. take a look at this tab in Admin.
The number is different probably because some users have deleted their accounts.

Hi Jacques
Thanks for the swift reply.
The test-accounts we deleted from admin-panel is in jail as you said, so that explains the difference I mentioned above.
Regarding the delete-option, I am reffering to the option in Rencontre > Custom > “No delete button”. I have not marked this, which means there is an option for the user frontend under settings to delete their own account. That was what I tried as a user, but I cant delete my account….

Hi again
Still no thoughts regarding this issue ? I am only using the built-in opportunity in Rencontre to delete the users own profile/account in settings when logged in as ordinary user, but the profile does not get deleted….??? I get no error, I get logged of, but I can log in again on the same account.
Any idea ?
Thanks in advance.
Henrik
Hi Henrik,
This is not an issue.
Check your options Do not remove WP roles and Do not remove user in WP when remove in Rencontre.
A User can have differents roles on the site. In that case, deletion in WP is not requested.

Hi Jacques
I am not sure I understand your point ?
I have tried checking both the options you mention above. The user I am trying to delete is a user only created as a rencontre-user and then I try to delete the account from the frontend, but it doesn’t get deleted.
I then tried unchecking the “Do not remove WP roles”, then I deleted the user from frontend again, but still no luck. The user is still “alive and kicking”. 🙁
Its an issue to me.
Henrik
Hey,
Maybe I can clarify a bit:
Our problem is that apparently the “Delete my user account” does not work from the site, when logged in. If i.e. I am logged in as a standard user, and find myself a lovely girl and then subsequently I want to “Delete my Account”.
We cannot get this to work from the frontend.
Backend there is an option in the Rencontre/custom/features where you can choose to display the “Delete my account” on the website. In english it is called: “No ‘delete account’ button”. I guess that when this option is NOT chosen, the Delete Account button appears within the site?
And this is the button, which does not “Delete the Account” nor does it remove the user data from the backend. (which I was hoping was the case, as we have some pretty tough regulation on this area in Denmark.
Hope this clarifies it somewhat?
Jørn
Ps. You can have an admin login to the site if you want to, or create your own profile: http://www.soveklubben.dk – just let me know
Hi Jørn,
The No 'delete account' button (legal ?) button hide the possibility to the user to remove his account. I will remove this option in the next update because I thing it’s not legal. If people want to maintain this possibility, he can remove the button in the template.
There seems to be a mistake in the code. I will try to fix that.
