Same problem here, tried with default theme for BuddyPress with no other plugins installed.

Do you have javascript errors ?

Ok i understand now, In a group you cannot upload, but only view. To upload, a user must go into his profile : the BuddyDrive tab. Then he will be able to use the toolbar on the right of the subnav to create/edit a file or folder.
Groups are a kind of way of sharing files with other members of the group.

No. I’m sorry, but that’s not a direction i want for this plugin. I think other BuddyPress plugins are dealing with this functionnality.
The way i see things : files and folders belong to users, groups are a way to share these files or folder.
Absolutely, I understand. I just want to enable the upload buttons on the buddydrive tab on groups as well – No change in logic, exactly the same as the current one but I just want to add the buttons on that view.
Edit: Which other plugins would you suggest in that case?
