Frontend not working

    Hey,

    I’m using buddydrive on localhost in test mode and I’m facing some problem.

    If a user uploads any file to the drive, AJAX animation won’t stop and items are not getting displayed. I checked console for errors:
    Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ) – underscore.min.js:5 Uncaught

    And I’m facing this issue on frontend: Even if user uploads file, This won't go

    Please help. Thanks!

    Hello!
    Please deactivate all plugins except for BuddyPress and BuddyDrive, switch to one of the default themes report back if this fixes your problem. It looks as if you are using a theme that is using a JS framework such as Angular or Node. I’m not 100% certain that Buddy Drive will work within such a framework. Please follow the above instruction and let me know if this fixes the issue.

    I detected the issue. It’s a conflict with WP Hide & Security Enhancer.

    Can you do me a favor by looking into the issue and help me with a fix?

    Hey,

    I found the problem within plugin conflict.

    If I remove Generator meta and canonical link meta within the head, The error occurs.

    Please suggest me a way to make the plugin work even if generator meta is removed.

    Which options in WP Hide & Security Enhancer are you setting to cause this issue? I’m having trouble reproducing this issue even with this plugin installed.

    As long as you do not set the “Remove Other Generator Meta” setting to “yes” you should be fine. Doing so creates a conflict with BuddyPress which causes an issue with BuddyDrive since it is dependent on BuddyPress as listed in the setting description. Simply setting this setting to no should fix your problem.

    Thanks for the reply again.

    I tried the suggested solution. No luck. I’m using almost every option in Rewrite section and General/Html section.

    Have you tried rewriting WP-Includes, WP-Content, Plugins etc?
