    Hi David,

As you know, I just purchased your plugin.

I am facing an issue. I have set the ftp backup option and tried connecting to it but get an error.

The ftp settings have been derived from my filezilla client and are as follows (they work in filezilla):
    -Standard FTP (meaning not sFTP)
    -Requires explicit ftp over TLS
As per you documentation in the backend, connections are explicit by default and hence no changes are required.
Here is the error message that I get when I try to “Test FTP Settings”:

    “FTP settings test result:
Warning: ftp_login(): Sorry, cleartext sessions are not accepted on this server. in E:\xampp\htdocs\MySiteDotCom\wp-content\plugins\updraftplus\addons\sftp.php on line 537
Failure: we did not successfully log in with those credentials.”

I was wondering why does it state sftp.php on that path mentioned in the error message? Since I am using FTP and not sFTP.

    Please help on this issue.

    Regards
