For quite a while all new registrations are automatically approved, which they should not be. Checking my settings on user registration I find this:

Warning : ftp_nlist() expects parameter 1 to be resource, null given in path/to/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-ftpext.php on line 427

Warning : ftp_nlist() expects parameter 1 to be resource, null given in path/to/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-ftpext.php on line 230

Please help.

Hi @tintin65,

Thanks for writing in. Could you please verify the source of those users in the user table by referring to this link: https://prnt.sc/3u-uFBnh_Ss0

If the source field is blank, it signifies that the users were registered using the standard WordPress registration form. However, if they are registered through our plugin, the source field will display the name of our form.

To prevent such registrations, we offer a feature that allows you to hide the default login form, for more help: https://docs.wpeverest.com/user-registration/docs/how-to-hide-the-wordpress-default-login-page-and-use-user-registration-login-page/.

And regarding the error message, the error message is not from our plugin. This error message indicates an issue with the FTP connection in the WordPress admin area. Please contact your hosting provider. They will help you to fix it.
