Can you show me a live URL?
Can you show me a screenshot of your issues? They all look fine to me
If you hover on the first image, you see: “Bagel Basket Code: 93 13” but the full caption is “Bagel Basket Code: 93 13″ x 5″ x 2″ H Image 1 / 33”.
Each caption in the gallery is similarly truncated, both in the overlay and in the lightbox.
When you hover over the image, what you see is called the “title” attribute of the anchor link. If I look in the source code of the page, the title attribute shows “Bagel Basket Code: 93 13”, so this is the correct behaviour. Likewise with the light box popup, they use the title attribute.
You could try making your image’s title use the description but other than that, everything is working as expected.
I understand that it’s called the title attribute in the plug-in, but it takes its text from the image caption (not from the title, which is simply “bagel-basket”). Changing the image title has no effect at all.
Yep, I use the caption field for the title attribute, just had a look to refresh my memory.
Are you saying that you have entered the full caption in the “caption” field but it’s still not using it?
It sounds like you’ve entered “Bagel Basket Code: 93 13” in the caption field, not “Bagel Basket Code: 93 13″ x 5″ x 2″ H Image 1 / 33”, is that correct?
No. I entered “Bagel Basket Code: 93 13″ x 5″ x 2″ H Image 1 / 33” in the caption field, but the plugin only displays “Bagel Basket Code: 93 13”.
Could you email me at [email protected] with admin details so I can take a look?
Thank you! Just so anyone going through this thread will know, it was the quotation marks (used as inches symbols) that were causing the problem. Sumobi has resolved the issue for me “and will include the fix in a future update.”
