Hello,

Quite recently i discovered that the full episode description is not visible in Spotify and Apple podcast. This has not happened before, and both of them cuts the sentence at the exact same place.. I have checked all settings twice and checked earlier posts, but im not able to solve it/find the problem.

Could this potentially be a bug with the latest upgrade?

Both cuts the text after the word “BCDR,”.

Hi @lsass,

So, I noticed that all of the episode descriptions in your RSS Feed truncate at exactly 55 words. This tells me that you have a setting somewhere, possibly in your theme, that is telling your RSS feed to truncate the description after 55 words. On its own, Seriously Simple Podcasting either displays the full description or the excerpt, we don’t have a setting anywhere in the plugin that would limit the number of words to display in the feed description.

Actually, @lsass, can you check whether or not you have excerpts selected to be displayed in the RSS Feeds. WordPress, by default, limits the number of words in feed excerpts to 55 as well.
