Full Post Showing, not Excerpt

    As you can see, the full post is showing not just the excerpt. I have the Readings setting set on excerpt. I’ve been searching for hours for an answer but just can’t figure it.

    The reading settings for excerpt or full content only affects the feed. As in the RSS feed.
    The text for the option says: For each post in a feed, include…

    To change what is shown in the template, select the template you want to update in the Site Editor.
    In many cases, this will be a template called “Home Blog”, but this depends on how you have setup your site and where you want to change from content to excerpt.

    In the template, you then want to find the post content block. This is the block that shows the full content. Select the block, click on the block icon and find the tranform menu. There you can transform the content block to an excerpt block.
    Or, you can just delete the content block and insert the excerpt block instead if you think that is easier.
