Hey @hamadata, thanks!
I have no hands on experience with Google Chromecast (or Roku stick) so I can’t help much. That address / URL bar is probably displayed by Chrome and then cast to the TV. So I would try and hide the address bar in Chrome on your computer first and see if this translates to a change visible on the TV. If that doesn’t work try a Google search like ‘hide address bar chromecast’.
Would be great if you could share the solution here for other and future Foyer & Chromecast users!
It works great on a Fire TV Stick ($30) with app Simple TV Display ($10).
Chromecast solution still requires another PC to cast from. But Fire Stick is all you need by itself.

Hi @summerflies thanks for the info! I’ve never used a Fire TV Stick so I’m curious.. does it play Foyer YouTube slides?
As in this demo:
http://demo.foyer.tv/
And what about Foyer MP4 video slides?
Really appreciated if you could test and let me know, so I can share this setup with Foyer users.
Best!
Yes, I can confirm that all 7 of those demo slides work in this setup. I think the Alex Cameron video is YouTube, and it plays fine. The Future islands video also plays fine (MP4?).
The Simple TV Display displays Foyer in an Android Webview. So it should display very similar to how any mobile android device would display (minus browser extras).
Hey @summerflies, thanks for testing! Both videos in that demo are YouTube. Great to hear it is working on hardware with such a low price tag!
Another user let me know the Fire TV Stick does not work for him when including videos, but that is without the app I guess. I will add the Fire TV Stick and Simple TV Display app to the Foyer plugin FAQ so more users might try this.
@hamadata, did you find a solution that hides the browser address bar when Chromecasting? Would be great if you could share the solution here for other and future Foyer & Chromecast users!
@mennolui sorry was in a lock down and did not get an opportunity to work on it since then, Will be doing so this weekend. promise to update soon!
