    Hello,

    For some reason the I’m not able to increase the image size to the full width in posts for the last few days.
    I’ve checked and have the option marked without any sidebars in Customizer, but they’re just small and even If I try to increase the size, it still stays like a small picture.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi

    You can display posts in list view and also set full width blog layout. please change settings under blog section accordingly, here : Appearance > Customize > Di Blog Options > Blog Options.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    the problem is not with the full width of the post itself, but with the pictures in it. I’ve already have the single post full width set as before and it hasn’t been changed, but the pictures are showing as this size no matter how I increase their size:
    Take a look at this screenshot:
    screenshot here

    Here I’ve set the picture size screenshot 2
    1500/1000 but it’s coming as smaller than it should.

    Hi

    Di Blog theme sets 1092px wide and 667px height of thumbnail image. you can confirm it inside theme file : https://themes.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/browser/di-blog/1.2.7/inc/core/class-di-blog-engine.php#L71

    May be you are using a plugin for image resize and it is creating issue. also you can use ‘Regenerate Thumbnails’ plugin to resize images according sizes : https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    Also image overflow will be hidden and image will display inside post container. if post container width is 360px wide then image will be display inside 360px container even it is 1500px wide. also all images will be responsive automatically so it will also increase width of image base on width of browser.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    I haven’t installed any plugins or anything new to trigger the issue.
    Just tried to regenerate the thumbnails, but still pictures are showing smaller than before and not as 1092px wide and 667px height.

    How to check for this post container?
    BTW, I haven’t changed the browser or pc or anything.

    I’ve started to use this Theme for this specific reason – because it has the option to display images in larged /full size/ in posts which is what I would like to have in the blog… so I know how they looked like a month ago and what’s the size now….

    Thanks

    So I’ve made a few screenshots to better explain myself and the question I have.
    I do understand what you’re saying that theme sets 1092px wide and 667px height of thumbnail image.
    However take a look at the pictures here:

    ->>>>>>
    Full width picture showing that it’s 1336px/891px which is bigger than the theme set 1092px/667px, if I’m not mistaken?
    ->>>>>
    Here how it looks like with full width and it’s bigger than the width of the post – here

    ->>>>>
    Here is the picture when I’ve allign it in the center and no mater of the size I’m changing from the post, the biggest possible option is 729px/486px:
    here

    ->>>>>
    and how it looks like on the screen without any changes to the browser, comparing to the full width option (picture is above) – here

    I hope those 4 pictures are showing what I mean. I do not want the pictures to be displayed that big as 1336px/891px but as 1092px/667px which is the default as per what you have said. SO my questions is HOW TO SET THOSE PICTURES TO DISPLAY THE WAY THEY HAVE and not be 1336px/891px OR smaller as 729px/486px?

    What I am doing wrong?
    Many thanks in advance for taking a look at it!

    Hi

    You are not displaying post thumbnail on single post page so thumbnail size does not matter on single post page. you are using WordPress editor and ‘Image’ block to display image on single post page : https://tiny.cc/wp6n6y

    To check inside Dashboard, we will need access details so please mail your query at [hello at dithemes.com]

    Thanks

    @dithemes
    Okay, can you tell me how to display the pictures in a single post in order to have bigger image size?
    Because I’m doing it the same way I did a month ago when everything was working fine…
