Full width content latest version

    HI!!!

    I´m using version 1.7.71, and when I tried to update to the latest version there was a problem…

    My website is configured to have a “layout -> maximum size width : 1080px” (this is the class ct-container) and “pages -> content area style: wide” (this is the class entry-content).

    In version 1.7.71 everything works fine, I can have full width sections, but…for example, the header menu is limited to the layout max width. In the newest version, everything is limited to the layout max width, I can’t have anymore full width content.

    The behaviour between content area style, wide and boxed, in the newest version is exactly the same. In the version that I’m using (1.7.71) there were some differences.

    I hope you can fix the problem!

    Hi @stichh

    I’ve taken a look at your website and it seems you are running a caching plugin.

    I would advise clearing out all the caches and rebuilding any CSS files after updating. Or maybe try turning off the CSS optimisations to troubleshoot the issue.

    Hi!

    Yeap, I did that. I disabled the cache and CDN.

    But the problem is something else.

    In version 1.7.71 in wide pages, exist a class call .content-wide with the following CSS in the main CSS file of blocksy

    .content-wide [data-structure] .entry-content {
    width: calc(100vw – (var(–frame-size, 0px) * 2));
    margin-left: calc( 50% – (50vw – var(–frame-size, 0px)));
    margin-right: calc( 50% – (50vw – var(–frame-size, 0px)));
    }

    This piece CSS is the solution for the problem.

    After the update, in the latest version, that CSS doesn’t exist anymore. Even the class .content-wide doesn’t exist… And that is the problem, everything is restricted to .ct-container.

    In latest version, Blocksy is not giving any special behaviour for wide pages.

    Hello @stichh,
    Yes, we made some improvements to the layout in the last update and unfortunately this caused a small issue for pages created with Divi builder and especially to full width sections.

    We are working now on a fix for this.

    If everything goes well we will release an update until the end of the week.
