Full width logo in Tempera?

I have a logo image that is purposely pretty large and intended to span the entire width of a visitors screen, ideally resizing responsively. Unfortunately I cannot figure out how to make this work within the Tempera theme. Everything I have tried to this point limits/crops the width.

At this point I have backed out all of my custom CSS changes and the test site is pretty much a clean install of Tempera. I have added the URL of my custom logo image within the “Tempera Settings/Header Settings/Customer Logo Upload”, but as you can see the result is not the full-width effect that I had hoped for.

Any advice on how I might:
1) Make my logo display full-width?
2) Keep the logo responsive?
3) Lock the logo to the top of the theme? (It is now, but I want to keep the existing behavior)
