Full width page

Hello.

I want my pages to be full width like the one here: http://cpanel.com/products/ or here; http://minimum.dk

where the content strokes all the way to the edges. My theme Optimizer by Layerthemes, have full width templates, but the just removes the sidebar, and not allow me to make my content (photos and stuff) go full width.

I’m not super good at css, so please take it step by step.

The only way i could get it full width was by changing the body width from 90% to 100%, but the issue here is that it also stretches the header, so that the menubar titles get cut of in at the right side and the imagelogo gets cut at left.

Also, want to know how to remove the gab that i get between the header and the content, when i remove the singular title with a widget.
