I’m using a Bone child theme. I have fixed, full-width images that parallax appropriately on my mac desktop, when using Elementor’s device preview, and when I resize my browser. But on mobile – Safari and Chrome – the images appear to be zoomed wayyy in and do not have the parallax effect.

    DETAILS:

    – I am using the most current plugin version
    – Images set to cover, fixed, no repeat
    – My theme allows full-width. I have added the class .is-fullwidthImage to the “advanced” section options
    – Content is set to “middle” there is a min height
    – I have tried various setting combinations but none seem to solve the problem

    Thanks for your help

  • Hi,
To my knowledge there is some conflict with apple mobile devices, when it concern with fixed images, as you mentioned.
Could you try and see what happens when you changed it from fix to scroll mode?

Thanks Boaz! That does makes the images legible – but it’s a bummer to loose the parallax.

Is this fixed-image issue with WordPress in general, or with the Elementor plugin?

    thanks again

I know that it happens also with other builders, and as far as i know the issue is with Parallax in Apple devices in general.
