Hi, I’m pretty new to wp, and using Make for the first time, like it so far! I have made a child.
I want my site to be full width, so chose customise/layout/full width. This gets rid of the colour panels at the sides, but the content is still in a centre panel.
How do I get the content to use the full width please?
    site is http://murielgreen.dohertyfamily.co.uk/

    thanks in advance

On further consideration, maybe that width is chosen to suit tablets, so more easily scales up for laptop or down for smartphone…
If so, is it possible to make the content panel wider?
    thanks again

    Hello Debbie,

What you’re seeing is as wide as the “content” can be yes — for optimum display on various devices. The banners and backgrounds can be full-screen though.

If you wanted to change that, you’d need to make significant changes to your theme’s code. We have a tutorial in our Make documentation that can get you started with theme customizations — and if you get stuck, you can always post here for help.

    Thanks for your time.
