Hi,
Yes, this is possible, check against our own website http://www.wp-hide.com, it does not return a WordPress inside.
Use as many plugin options as possible. Keep in mind the free plugin is enough to hide everything within a small website, however for medium to large, sites with many plugins,
you might need the PRO version which include specialized tools for specific traces removal.

There’s really no special instructions on how to hide. As mentioned, you should use as many plugin options as possible.
