Function with arguments is not working

I have used functions with arguments which looks like:

collapsArch('linkToArch=false&expandCurrentYear=false&showPages=true');

but result which I see is not what I can get with the widget with same settings. First opening and closing ul tag is missing when function is used, second it looks like arguments are not recognized by that function.

Any clue?
