I was close to choose this plugin as my default plugin but ended up with CFF as at the time it was better for what I wanted. But I was thinking of going for a bundle of the WPMUDEV plug-ins and tried this again and it’s great. But before I go premium there are some issues:

1- I use Paid Membership pro (free). I don’t have an e-Mail verification for the free account so tried to you. You have the settings, but:

A- you change the settings around email activation then they change back even after update.

B- The verification link was never sent, but other 2 emails did. 1 to the admin, 1 to the user that send another email would be sent with activation link but nothing. I change settings, made no manual activation on, activation link on and the first thing off, then it would just activate the account without verifying a link in the account…

2- Paid Membership Pro allows certain payment gateways. You guys also, I see some other ways that you have. Whether through an Automator, custom coding or integration, could I perhaps just use you for the form registration then assign the users to PMP? Since I can set recurring payments.

3- Surprised WPMUDEV doesn’t offer a paid membership plug-in. Restrict Pro looks like one of your products but don’t think it is .

4- I have a html based form I made last year but can’t connect to the backend right now. It does budget calculations and generates a chart, so html css and js. Rather than redoing everything through your fields, is there a chance you’d take the html, and someone save the user interactions (their input info via the html elements like their spendings etc).

I can send the code by email, copy and paste or html file

    Hi @chrisdalmeida

    Hope you are doing fine.

Our team already has a task to integrate the Paid Memberships Pro Integration with Forminator. I’m afraid we don’t manage an ETA for this feature yet, it is still in the list but the developers work on a daily basis not just with new features but also with major fixes which could cause some delay in the process of adding a new feature, I can see there is some activity in the feature request so it will be definitively implemented in a future release. Please follow our roadmap where we publish the future features along with an ETA when available: https://wpmudev.com/roadmap/#forminator

About the HTML form, I am afraid it may be out of the scope of the support for Forminator since there are several conditions from the site we need to take into account and are not aware. We’d recommend to rebuild the form using Forminator and if you have any question or need assistance in the process let us know. We’ll be glad to provide assistance.

    Kind regards

    Luis

Thank you for the response. Good news about the integration.

1- BUG: there was one unanswered question. Your current plug-in seems to have a bug. It does not send the email verification email, no matter the combination of configurations around user emails.

2- About the html form, I can redo using forminator. But I need to allow the user to add and remove fields, at least certain ones. And capture that info? Would that be possible with your plugin ?

    Hi @chrisdalmeida

Sorry for missing that question about a bug!

Activation link is being sent by WordPress itself and Forminator those notifications can’t be set/changed via “Email notification” settings of form. Formiantor can only be set suppress them and either automatically activate user or require admin to manually activate account.

So for activation e-mail with activation link you would need to set your registration form in Forminator as follows (in form’s “User Registration” settings):

    – “Activation Method” set to “Email Activation”
    – “Activation Email” set to “Default”

Note: Forminator does NOT replace any other registration form and doesn’t affect settings of default WordPress registration form or any other registration form.

So you would need to put that Forminator registration form on some page on site and register through that form.

If it still doesn’t send activation e-mails, it would mean that there is some unexpected conflict with some other plugin on site and full conflict test would need to be performed on site to identify it.

    As for the HTML form:

I’m not sure what exactly do you mean by “add/remove fields” but I’m assuming you are referring to “repeater” fields so, for example, you have fields like “pet name” and “pet age” and then user can click on “add another pet” and that shows second copy of “pet name” and “pet age” field; and so on…

    Is that about right?

If so, then yes – Formiantor can handle that using “Field Group” with “repeater” option enabled. Take a look here, please:

    Hello @chrisdalmeida ,

We haven’t heard from you for over a week now, so it looks like you no longer need our assistance.

Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.
