No matter how many times in the “Default Notification Body” if I change anything in that field (even if it is a single word or punctuation) it gets rid of the format of the email. There are no spaces in between lines.

    Example:

    “Best regards,

    -Sender”

will be displayed in the email that is sent “Best regards,-Sender”

However, if the default field is left alone and no changes are made to text or punctuation the spaces in between lines exists. Is there some type of new line functionality or code that I can insert for it to display the text of the default notification body the way I want it to be displayed?

There are a couple things which could affect the email format.

Do you have email configured as plain text or HTML? Do you have any other plugins which affect email installed (e.g. an SMTP plugin)?

There are some WordPress filters which could also affect the text (e.g. the_content filter) which other plugins might be using.

Thank you for the quick response. I was able to fix the formatting issue I was experiencing by clicking on the “text” tab next to the “visual” tab in the default notification body. I was unaware I could change the html code in order to format the way I wanted to. I will mark this topic as resolved. I am very happy with your plugin. It is exactly what I needed. Thank you!
