Running the GPL plug-in on ridewithjoe.com. When installed, it told me to disable the facebook wordpress plug-in, which makes sense. However, when I post a new article, it doesn’t get pushed to my Timeline like it did with the Facebook for wordpress official plug-in. What am I missing? The facebook opengraph debug looks good.

WPSSO creates meta tags so that Facebook and others can get accurate information about your webpages. WPSSO does not publish content to other sites.

You might want to try NGFB Open Graph+. It includes the same meta tag functionality as WPSSO, but also provides social buttons you can use to post your content to a variety of social websites. It does not, however, post automatically. NGFB Open Graph+ and WPSSO are all about managing meta tags and making sure everything is perfect *before* posting to websites. This last part needs a manual click on a button. 😉

Ohhhhh soooo close. 🙂 Like running a marathon and stopping 10 feet before the finish. I like the functionality of the plug in but that one feature is key for me. I click enough buttons. I always want my post to be published to my facebook site or if I could figure out how to get the two to play together nicely that would be OK too.

I guess consider it a feature request. If you get it, I’ll be a customer.
