• After extensive testing and deactivating plugins, we can’t figure out why there is a problem with containers using flip-boxes that are set to different membership levels.

The first container with flip-boxes will render fine. But when we add another container with flip boxes, it renders all messed up…basically you can see both the front and the back of the flip box and all the boxes are different sizes. It’s a mess.

    Please help.

  • I am having a similar problem.

When I have PM Pro active, flip boxes are displaying both sides at the same time without background colour – even if the flip boxes do not have any PM Pro access restriction.

When I deactivate PM Pro, all my flip boxes display properly.

My site is on 3.14.0 version of Elementor Pro, latest version of PM Pro and is using Sections/Columns rather than Containers.

This is not just happening on pages where there are some elements with PM Pro restrictions – it is happening on any page where I add a flip box – the box displays incorrectly until I deactivate PM Pro.

    Hi @jilllevenhagen and @dustycat

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we are looking into this further.

It may take us a bit of time to get this tested and replicated. I assume it’s a JavaScript related error of sorts.

I’ll revert back as soon as I possibly can.

I have tried to replicate this with Flip Boxes but I am unable to do so. It seems to be working just fine – I used the default Flip Box on a page with the Hello Elementor theme (and the latest Pro Version).

Please let me know if there are any specific steps I need to take to replicate this issue.

Hi, sorry I did not see these responses. Somehow this got marked as resolved but it is not resolved.

Did you use two containers on the same page with flip boxes marked for different membership levels?

Would you like log ins for my site so that you can see what is happening?

By the way, the rendering is fine for the container that is set for members. That is the flipbox container you will see while you are logged in if you do a preview.

The problem is when you are logged out and try to view the page as a non-member. Then you will see the container with flipboxes that was set to non-member, and it renders a mess.

Thanks for the feedback @jilllevenhagen, I was able to replicate this issue now with multiple checkboxes that are linked to different levels and we are investigating this.

I wasn’t able to replicate this issue for Flip Boxes that are on a page and don’t require membership at all or a single Flip Box that requires a membership level.

I’ll revert back as soon as I can. We mark tickets resolved if we don’t hear back from our users within a week – I’ve gone ahead and set it back to unresolved.

Just to give some feedback here, if you restrict the Flip Box itself to require a membership it renders the other Flip Boxes correctly. The issue seems to be related to container/section restrictions.

Sorry, I am not getting these notifications and not currently working on this client. So I just got back to this.

Not sure what you need feedback on. I have two membership levels. One is Non-Member. And the other is Member. Should I just get rid of the Non-Member level? Maybe that would work?

    Thread Starter jilllevenhagen

    (@jilllevenhagen)

I guess I can’t get rid of the Non-Member level. Because, I need that level in order to HIDE the flipbox container that is for non-members, when a member is logged in.

So, I need two levels in order to hide/show the correct container for each user. Each user, depending on member level, sees one container of flipboxes, and not the other.

But the flipboxes for the Members renders a mess.

Thank you for your patience, I have managed to replicate this issue and we’re investigating this further from our end.

As mentioned previously, this occurs when you restrict the entire section or container of the Flip Box (and then any other Flip Box that is rendered after the hidden Flip Box doesn’t render correctly).

I managed to resolve this by removing the container/section restrictions for members and restricted the Flip Box itself (and any other individual element).

I do not have a timeframe when this issue will be resolved, but we are looking into this and will provide further feedback as soon as we possibly can.

    (@jilllevenhagen)

I can confirm that I removed the CONTAINER restrictions and applied restrictions to each flipbox.

This resolved MY issue. So I am fine.

But, obviously there is a problem at the container level so I am glad that you are working to solve this.

    Thank you!

I am having this same issue but using WP Fusion to hide/show blocks based on infusionsoft tag. I tried removing the restrictions on the block and putting it on the Flip Box but the problem still exists. It’s showing both the front and back of the flip box for regular users. For admin users it looks fine.

@chrtravels sorry for the delayed response here. We’ve passed the Flip Box issue onto the development team at Elementor to help advise us further. Having the restriction only on the Flip Box should resolve the issue.

Would you mind opening a new issue here so we can continue to assist you with your issue and debug this further?
