Hi,

I’ve recently installed WooCommerce StoreFront to test, and received a hosting warning from Namecheap saying “Attention: Malicious Attempt to Access Your Hosting Account “thatlliz” is Detected

This is an automated alert to inform you that we have detected a malicious attempt to access your account via http or ftp on our server”

‘[PHP WordPress Exploit [P1412]]’: /home/thatlliz/cloudbd.com.au/wp-content/themes/storefront/functions.php

Anyone else receiving something similar? And how do you resolve this?

Hi there,

While this forum is solely geared towards the core features of the WooCommerce plugin, have you checked to make sure you’re using the official version of Storefront as available for free at https://woocommerce.com/storefront/? The reason I’m asking is that code available for Storefront at the moment is showing up as clean: https://github.com/woocommerce/storefront

@riaanknoetze thanks for the reply, I’ve installed within WordPress plugins rather than downloading from github, perhaps I should do github instead
