I am working on putting together a fundraising campaign for a local not for profit group. Basically, they are running an event that requires users to register, then build a personal page to share with friends in order to facilitate raising sponsorships. Last year they used Active.com, but they want to do it on their own site this year to save thousands that could better be put toward their mission. I have built them a concept page with the features they want (User pic, personal bio, reason for participating, and a fundraising thermometer on each profile). The problem is that it requires each page to be built manually (by me), and updated as funds start coming in. We’re talking close to a thousand pages. Anyone know a plugin that would allow users to access their own user profile page to update themselves? I also wouldn’t mind a plugin to track and update fundraising totals, but if that’s the part I’m left with doing manually that’s fine. To get an idea, check out http://www.bootsonthegroundny.com/brick26/ then select me from the drop down box. Thanks in advance!
