Further customising UTM tags

I saw that under the advanced options of the plugin, there’s an option to change the campaign name of the link back to the post. This is fine, but it sets the default utm_medium to ‘twitter’ when it should be ‘social’. This is messing with my analytics a bit. Is it possible to further customise the utm data, or have the plugin itself set the default to ‘social’ for the medium?
