    Hello Yoast support,

    I’m the owner of Futeros.com blog. I have been a Yoast SEO user for a lot of years, but with this site, I’m encountering an issue with how the site thumbnail is appearing when sharing links.

    When I share a post link, the thumbnail is fine as it is taking the featured image of the post. For example:

    This is working perfectly fine.

    The problem is when I share the homepage link https://futeros.com.

    As you can see below, it is not taking the homepage logo, but the last post’s featured image. For example in Slack:

    I think I have Yoast SEO configured properly as you can see here:

    image.png

    The homepage image is set to take the site logo.

    The same happens with other social networks like WhatsApp:

    Telegram:

    or Teams:

    X.com:

    or Facebook:

    I would like, when I share the homepage link, to get the logo site thumbnail as it is set in the Yoast configuration.

    Thanks, in advance.

    Hello @crino

    Thanks for reaching out about social sharing for your homapge. I understand you have uploaded your website logo as the og:imagefor the homepage but the page source shows duplicates:

    <meta property="og:image" content="https://www.estadiodeportivo.com/imagenes/b89b6ee3-89c3-4567-8eba-b9f7cca05d9a_320x180.jpeg" />
    <meta property="og:image" content="https://www.estadiodeportivo.com/imagenes/b89b6ee3-89c3-4567-8eba-b9f7cca05d9a_320x180.jpeg" />

    So, there are two og:imagetags with the same image that isn’t your logo. In WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > Content Types > Homepage, remove the logo and save changes. Check the page source to confirm if there’s an og:imagetag. Next, re-upload the image, save changes and check the page source again.

    Do let us know how it goes.

    Hello, I can see the duplicate issue.

    That helped me to identify the problem was related to a third-party plugin (FIFU).

    Thanks.
