Future post plugin is creating sceduled actions

Hi, I am using your future post plugin to set an end date for job openings on my news site. But for some reason it is creating thousands of scheduled actions (under tools). It slows down my server badly, and they are hard to remove. They look useless.

This is what I see in scheduled posts: publishpressfuture_check_expired_actions

Status: complete

Group: publishpress-future

Scheduled date: 2025-03-25 10:53:53 +0000
(23 hours 40 minutes ago)

Log:

   action created
2. 2025-03-25 10:54:23 +0000

There are also messages that say pending or cancelled

There were thousands…….

How can I stop this?
