Hi @deborahwitter,
Thank you for reporting this and I’m sorry you ran into the fatal error. Would it be possible to get more details regarding the error you received after the update?
If you want to share an error log entry or other sensitive info you can also use the form at https://wpcode.com/contact
Any details you can share are greatly appreciated.
I wish I could, but recreating the issue in order to create a log would be bad for our education users. I wish there was a way, and maybe you know best, to have a an error log/debugging log, running constantly that recycles it’s logs based on a setting (daily, weekly, etc). This way we could always have a log at least 24 hours old, without creating huge error logs or having to recreate issues to solve problems.
Hi @deborahwitter,
Yes, we wouldn’t want you to trigger the error again, your hosting provider should be able to give you an error log of the last 24hrs – in most setups PHP errors are logged automatically so you might be able to get that info from them.
Thank you
Good Afternoon @gripgrip,
I located and reviewed the error logs. Something in the update triggered a problem with our Divi theme. I can send you the log if you would like.
Thank you for your assistance.
