Hi – I have tried messaging your lite support, but the reCaptcha is not working so I can’t submit anything.
I am a developer and use MonsterInsights Lite on nearly all the WordPress sites I build, however I notice that on some of them, Google Analytics is not tracking anything.
Looking at the code, the websites with the lack of tracking have this code….
    data-cli-class=”cli-blocker-script” data-cli-script-type=”analytics” data-cli-block=”true”
…whereas the ones which are tracking fine do not.
I have no idea why this is in place on some websites and not others as there doesn’t appear to be anything different in terms of set up. I have tested removing MonsterInsights on one site with the problem and using a different plug-in, and the analytics starts tracking again.
I look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi Simon,

Sorry about that form issue, it has been since resolved.

The extra data variables that you are seeing are added by a Cookie Consent plugin, such as Cookie Notice or CookieBot. These will only be ‘blocking’ the tracking script if the user visiting your site has chosen to not accept tracking to occur.

You can read more about what each of these variables does by checking out the documentation of your chosen cookie plugin.

If you have any other questions let me know!

    Thanks,
    Tim
