    Hello,

I am using your cookie consent plugin together with Google Tag Manager on a WooCommerce website.

    My current setup includes:

    • A Google Analytics (GA4) tag in Google Tag Manager with the trigger set to “All Pages”
    • Your Pressidium Cookie Consent tag with the trigger set to “Consent Initialization – All Pages”

The consent status appears to be correctly updated after the user interacts with the banner (analytics_storage / ad_storage are being set properly in GTM).

However, I am still facing an issue: some scripts (especially Google Analytics GA4 page_view) seem to be firing before the user has given explicit consent.

Could you please clarify the following:

    1. Does your plugin actively block scripts before consent is given, or does it only update consent signals for Google Tag Manager?
    2. Is any additional configuration required to fully prevent GTM tags (like GA4) from firing before consent?
    3. Do you have a recommended setup for proper integration with Google Tag Manager (GA4 + Consent Mode v2)?

My goal is to ensure full GDPR/CNIL compliance:

    • No analytics or marketing scripts fired before explicit consent
    • Tags only fire after consent is granted via GTM Consent Mode

Thank you in advance for your help.
